For the past few weeks, I have dropped the ball in posting regularly here in my blog. And so, to help me be more accountable, I want to publicly set my intention to go back to the rhythm of weekly blog posting.
To celebrate this start of a new month and to celebrate the renewal of my commitment, I am going to make this short, sweet, and silly!
Today, I want to invite you to let you inner child out. Think for a moment, what is that one thing that you’ve been wanting to do because you know it will bring you so much joy and delight, but you’re holding yourself back because you think it’s silly or others might find it silly.
Remember when you’re still a cute, little baby-toddler and you are so free and comfortable in being just yourself? You didn’t have a care of what other people might be thinking about you. You were not afraid of being judged or ridiculed. All you were doing — no — all you were being is yourself.
So for just one day, try it out. Let your inner child come out and play. As long as you are not hurting yourself or other people, allow yourself to have fun, explore, be silly, and “make a fool” (though not really) of yourself.
Let me know how it goes, yeah?
